Dear internet:

Hello! Welcome to The Perplexed Bean from the perplexed human being themself.

Being in the middle of a *pandemic*, there isn't much going on for anyone. (With the exception of essential workers, of course! Thank you for your services!). With my semester over, minimal work, and only so much to do, I've begun this blog in an attempt to keep my mind active and motivated to keep interacting with engaging topics.

The Perplexed Bean will serve as a way to hold myself accountable for learning about many new topics through a comprehensive discussion of them (because accountability is something we all need sometimes ! !). In short, I'll [hopefully] be making [accurate] sense of complex research among other subjects. The niche focus of this blog will be on neurological and pharmacological sciences while also occasionally branching out to various miscellaneous topics!
